Task: to create a piece of artwork for Red Bridge Baptist's entryway that portrays the mission statement of the church
As I was working, I was reminded of 1 Corinthians 15:58 which says, “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.” The farmer symbolizes the believer as he is actively planting Gospel seeds. And even though he can’t see every seed he has planted taking root, he stands in full confidence, knowing that his labor for the Lord is not wasted.
